$70 off the latest iPad Air with 256GB storage

Discounts don’t usually arrive quickly on Apple’s latest technology, but you can enjoy a steep price cut on Apple’s latest iPad Air, which has an M1 processor and 256GB of massive storage. It usually costs $749 for this tablet configuration, but Walmart and Amazon sell it for $679. Note that this price reduction is limited to space gray at both retailers.

In our recent review of the 2022 iPad Air, the features that make it worth buying include fast performance, an excellent array of speakers and screen, and all-day battery life. My colleague Dan Seifert recommends spending more to get this 256GB model, as the default 64GB just isn’t enough for the cost of this tablet.

2022 iPad Air (Wi-Fi, 256 GB)

The latest iPad Air retains the iPad Pro-esque redesign of the 2020 model but does away with the A14 Bionic processor in favor of Apple’s super-fast M1 chip. It also comes in five colors and features a 12MP front camera with Apple Center Stage support.

If you’re in the market for a pair of noise-canceling earbuds, the OnePlus Buds Pro are one of our favorites and are currently available at an all-in 2022 price. Regularly $149.99, you can now buy a pair in white or black along with the wireless charging case for $119.99 from OnePlus.

As we noted in our review, the OnePlus Buds Pro feature better noise cancellation than the more expensive AirPods Pro. They’re also a great choice if you use your own earbuds for calls, as their audio call performance is superior to most earbuds that cost around $150. We’re also impressed with the fact that it comes with an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance, something that even AirPods Pro don’t offer, and a lightweight design that feels just as comfortable as the popular Apple earbuds.

OnePlus Buds Pro

The OnePlus Buds Pro does a lot to offer a fair value. It’s lightweight and comfortable, with powerful active noise cancellation – available in matte black and glossy white.

If you don’t mind that it only supports the first generation Apple Pencil and lacks USB-C support unlike more expensive models, Apple’s iPad is a great option if you’re looking for an iPad that’s more affordable than the iPad Air. It’s an even more attractive purchase today considering that the 256GB model is available at the best price to date. Amazon is currently selling a 256GB model with Wi-Fi for $429, at a $50 discount, the lowest ever on Amazon also matching Walmart.

Apple’s entry-level iPad introduces a new A13 Bionic CPU that’s much faster than its predecessor. Like some of the more premium models in the lineup, the iPad’s 12MP front camera also supports Apple’s Center Stage feature, so it’ll automatically follow you in frame during video calls. Plus, unlike the more expensive iPads, this one still comes with a 3.5mm audio jack so you can plug in your headphones. For more details on how the iPad compares to the rest of the lineup, you can check out the comparison here.

Apple’s latest entry-level iPad is a slight update, with a new A13 Bionic chip and a 12MP front camera that supports Apple’s Center Stage feature.

Speaking of more budget-friendly alternatives, if the OnePlus Buds Pro true wireless earbuds are expensive and don’t need active noise cancellation, the Anker Soundcore Liberty Air 2 is among the best budget alternatives. It’s more budget friendly today as you can buy a pair for $42.99 instead of $49.99 at Woot via Amazon, which is an all-time low.

Compared to others in this price range, we found the Liberty Air 2s to have the best mic performance, as they offer as long stems as the AirPods. While we found the clicking controls to be tricky at times, these earbuds also have long battery life and good sound quality.

The Fitbit Luxe – the most elegant fitness tracker on the market – is currently available at a slightly lower price. Usually $129.95, Amazon sells the tracker for $109.95 in black and white, while Walmart has white for the same price.

If you are looking for a tracker that can monitor your overall activity levels and wear it to the gym or party, then this is the best option for you. The Luxe comes with features like continuous heart rate monitoring and SpO2 sensors while featuring a color OLED touchscreen and a slim design ideal for those with small wrists. However, note that while we think it’s one of the best fitness trackers out there, it’s not the most accurate when it comes to distance. Plus, unlike other Fitbits — like our top pick, the $229.99 Fitbit Versa 3 — it doesn’t come with contactless payments or access to a digital assistant. However, it’s an overall good tracker for keeping track of the basics that can help you track your fitness levels for less than $110.
