At the NAB booth (C2631), LG is showing off a number of broadcast display solutions, including the 136-inch LG All-In-One DVLED that ships in a flight case with everything included in the box. LG experts are on hand to discuss the full range of DVLED options and uses in broadcast scenarios, including multi-feed video walls for control rooms, projection screens for news broadcasts, live theater performances, and VR/XR productions.
Smith explained that LG’s DVLED range of products allows professional designers to think outside the box and consider custom displays, allowing branding creative and presentation options for a variety of camera needs. “There are virtually no restrictions on size, so almost any combination can add wall-to-wall wallpaper that delivers high-resolution, bright, and clear images, while curved models can be mounted to almost any wall or column that is curved in convex or concave directions,” he said.
In addition, floor and ceiling models provide strong strength and flexibility and provide an opportunity to develop immersive sets where HD content can surround an actor or host.

Additional display treatments and accessories can transform LG DVLED screens into giant touchscreens, making them ideal for sports, weather and political coverage as hosts are constantly receiving new information or need to switch between graphics such as maps and graphs.
All LG DVLED displays feature V-sync tuning, custom color gamut mapping, a frameless design, high refresh rates, high contrast and deep blacks, and can be supported by various LG maintenance and care programs such as ConnectedCare. Colors are factory calibrated and can then be adjusted on site to ensure optimum performance and consistency.

LG’s DVLED product line includes models with pixel dimensions from 0.9mm to 4.6mm and brightness up to 5000 nits. Some chains also offer half-size cabinets, which allow designers and installers to maximize wall coverage in spaces where another full cabinet wouldn’t fit.
LG Business Solutions USA’s first NAB Show Stand (C2631) builds on LG Electronics’ decades-old role as the National Association of Broadcasters’ ally and technology provider for the show. Alongside the DVLED screens and LG OLED Pro screens in the commercial display section’s booth, dozens of LG 4K UHD screens were displayed in high-profile locations throughout the Las Vegas Convention Center at this year’s show. Additionally, reflecting the company’s lead role as co-developer of the next-generation broadcast standard ATSC 3.0, LG has been named “Official NEXTGEN TV Partner” for NAB 2022.
