Apple on Friday opened pre-orders for the new third-generation iPhone SE with 5G connectivity through its website and the Apple Store app, and since then estimated delivery times in late March for select configurations in the US have slipped.

Pre-orders for all iPhone SE configurations have opened with an estimated delivery date of March 18, but US customers who order any version of ‌iPhone SE‌ now face an estimated delivery window of March 29 or March 28 if additional shipping costs are paid for. All ‌iPhone SE‌ configurations will be available for in-store pickup for launch day on March 18, but some configurations may run out of stock very quickly.

Apple on Friday also began accepting orders for the new iPad Air, which remains available for delivery on launch day March 18 at the time of writing.
