Poco F4 GT revealed with SD8 Gen1, 120Hz display and 120W charging

A new generation of the Poco F series is on our head, with the debut of the Poco F4 GT. It goes back to using a flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, while connected to the charging speed.

Powerful chipsets are tuned by LiquidCool 3.0 technology, made with two cooling steam chambers. For comparison, the Poco F3 used version 1.0 of this technology. The rooms are also 170% larger than those inside the F3 GT.

All that power wants to express itself and the Adreno 730 GPU (50% faster than the previous generation) will do just that on its 6.67″ flat-panel AMOLED display. It’s a 10-bit (1 billion colors) panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and high-frequency PWM dimming. Display quality was verified by DisplayMate, giving it an A+ score after adjusting or matching 15 display performance records.

The screen has a touch sampling rate of 480Hz, up from 360Hz in the F3 and matching the F3 GT. Like the previous GT model, this one has a lot of interest in gaming, so it offers additional controls in the form of shoulder buttons. They have been tested in over 100 popular games, but can also be used as shortcuts for normal use (such as turning on the camera).

Poco F4 GT is the fastest Poco charger to date with 120W HyperCharge system. The phone’s 4700mAh battery can be filled to 100% in 17 minutes when you are in a hurry. There is another mode that allows charging while gaming – it generates less heat, but is still very fast with a time of 0-100% for 27 minutes. And here’s something neat, the Poco includes an angled USB-C cable, which is more comfortable to use while holding the phone horizontally.

This is also an 8MP ultra-wide (120°, f/2.2) camera And a 2-megapixel macro camera, as well as a flicker sensor.
