The Frame and YellowKorner by Samsung enhance your living room with a great selection of artistic photography – Samsung Newsroom Malaysia

Samsung Electronics today announced a new partnership with YellowKorner, a world-renowned art photography group, to provide consumers with a wide range of photography by international and emerging artists on The Frame, its lifestyle TV, and make art photography even easier with an art store.

Founded in 2006, YellowKorner is a leading art photography house headquartered in France, operating a network of more than 130 worldwide galleries in 25 countries around the world. It offers over 3,000 limited editions and certified prints in collaboration with some of the world’s leading artists of this generation.

Through the partnership, The Frame will offer a wide range of images curated by YellowKorner, allowing viewers to discover and experience the magic of photography in a way that has never been possible before. The Frame will also be on display at some YellowKorner art galleries in France, where customers will be able to discover The Frame and have the possibility, through a QR code, to obtain information about The Frame.

In addition, Samsung and YellowKorner will partner with renowned and emerging artists to hold exhibitions in Paris with the goal of democratizing artistic photography. Both sites, Samsung and YellowKorner, will detail, as visitors will be able to delve deeper into the partnership, popular Lifestyle TV and its leading art platform, Art Store, where some of YellowKorner’s artists reside.

The Art Store currently contains more than 1,600 artworks from more than 600 artists in 42 different countries that consumers can enjoy in 4K picture quality from museums and galleries around the world, including the Albertina Museum in Vienna, the State Hermitage Museum in Saint Petersburg, the Prado Museum in Madrid, Tate Modern in London, Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam and Lomas.

The Frame is Samsung’s award-winning lifestyle TV that turns your everyday living space into an art gallery with stunning artwork from the Art Store. The 2021 Edition builds on The Frame’s iconic design, offering a slimmer bezel of 24.9mm, reflecting the depth of the traditional picture frame and allowing viewers to focus on the artwork itself.

The Frame case is available in seven screen sizes, ranging from 32 inches to large 85 inches. Leveraging industry-leading QLED 4K image quality, The Frame also uses a brightness sensor to detect ambient light conditions and automatically adjusts screen brightness and color tone to deliver stunningly vibrant images while viewing artwork as it was meant to be seen.

Samsung Malaysia Electronics and Segaris Art Center announced their collaboration last month, coinciding with the exhibition’s 10th anniversary celebration, to celebrate the work of local artists and talent in the country.

Through a first-of-its-kind art collaboration with Samsung, 10 paintings from the gallery’s collection have been selected to display in the Samsung Digital Art Store between now and March 31, 2022. These include works by artists including Faisal Soueif, Awang Dimit Ahmed, Alicia Lau that are exclusively provided For The Frame TV users with the lifestyle in Malaysia.
