These new Xbox controllers are much nicer than PS5 DualSense remotes

Earlier this week, Xbox released two weird custom Xbox controllers themed Sonic. But already, we’ve been treated to a look at the console’s spring lineup of game consoles — and I’m not going to lie, I’m kind of smitten with the designs.

The new Xbox Series X/S console collection in pastel pink, purple, blue, white and white, is filled with the vibe of spring. But the designs aren’t just a pretty face – nope, these young consoles also have special features to enhance your gaming experience. In partnership with PowerA, OtterBox, and 8BitDo, Microsoft has created six amazing consoles (and one case), with three different builds to improve gameplay (see above). All PowerA remotes (White Wire Controllers) feature two programmable game buttons on the back of the design.

The 8BitDo (pink remote control with black wire) design also features two buttons on the back of the design, but the fun doesn’t stop there. This remote also features button mapping, so you can adjust everything from vibration to trigger sensitivity.

The design of the OtterBox is particularly interesting. In Lilac Dream color, the console case fits snugly over the Xbox Series X/S console as a durable case. The clear, glossy sleeve fits on the remote control and features customizable knobs that you can interchange on your device. This state is perfect for any of those players who suffer from player rage (coughing, not me, coughing) because it’s so powerful.
