The PS5 is currently the hottest console on the market, and it has two versions to choose from. The $499.99 model features a disc drive for physical copies of games, while the $399.99 model is a digital console only. Both units play the same games with the same graphical fidelity, the only difference being the drive.

Depending on how much you rate the physical copies of games, the $100 price difference between the two can be very good for a commodity as hot as a console.

The Xbox Series X ($499.99) is the more powerful console of the two, featuring higher graphical resolutions and more storage and drive space. The Xbox Series S, on the other hand, can’t reach the same graphic levels as its more expensive counterpart and lacks a disc drive, but it’s a much cheaper ($299.99) alternative for those who don’t care much about 4K resolution.

Fortunately, both consoles can play exactly the same games, so don’t worry about missing out if the cheaper version fits your budget.
